Prospect Parks and Recreation Committee is excited to announce our first Owls Prowl program on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 2 pm - 4 pm.
Program will feature Louisville’s own Lee Payne aka the “Owl Whisperer”.
This two-part program runs from 2-4 pm. The event will begin with a presentation from Lee about Owls and will take place in Prospect City Hall starting at 2pm. (The presentation will be live streamed for those that can’t attend.)
After the presentation, participants will drive to Putney Pond/Woodland Trail to hike and look for owls at approximately 3pm.
Gratuity for the presenter is appreciated.
Event is weather permitting but heavy rain and/or snow & ice will cancel the event.
Place: Presentation- Prospect City Hall- 9200 US Highway 42, Prospect, KY 40059
Hike: Putney Pond- Putney Lane, Prospect, KY (Dress in appropriate footwear and clothing for this 1-hour outdoor hike)
