House Watch

Prospect police officers will make regular checks on residents' homes while they are away and will take action should unauthorized vehicles or persons be near the house. This highly successful program is a valuable free service for residents.

Requests for a HouseWatch should be made 48 hours before you leave town. The 48 hours prior notice helps ensure that your watch request gets printed on the daily list provided to our officers. If you are unsure of your return date, please provide an approximate date of return. If you return on a different date, please let us know. You may modify the information at any time by calling our office.

Please arrange for your neighbor or someone else to pick up and hold items such as mail, newspapers, and packages until your return. A full mailbox is a sign that no one is home.
